Default i want your opinion...

well, on a night doing a little beer sippin, my buddy and i come up with an idea for me to be able to stretch my legs on our rides... he tells me he has a ton of leftover parts from his bike and the additions hes put on. so, we created a fold up moustache bar. heres some pics, let me know what you think!!

That's a great idea and looks good too. You better run to the patent office.

hey Bro, ya best be real damn careful, I made a Hiway bar, mounted it almost exactly where you got that one, and under firm, not hard, but firm braking, the bar rubbed the front fender due to the collapsing action of the forks. Rubbed the paint right off the Fender and made steering very difficult. I can only imagine the problems I woulda had in the event of a HARD braking situation. Surprised the **** outta me how far the forks compress under moderate braking.

Bo,

I think that looks great. Follows the lines of the bike when folded up, and still look good down. I do not see them being any different then most Engine Guards type foot pegs.

Good work

well, true to your message, same conditions, i found the same issue today after riding a whole day with it on... fortunantly i heard it hit only once and changed my riding style till i got home to the garage. one tiny tiny tiny scratch. so, ive made some altercations and trying a few new things round the same idea. once perfected, there will be new pics and ill see if this is something i can make for the 'bargin' shopper.

Bo,......After making my own set of hiway bars, I can really appreciate and admire your results. I will be anxious to see how you solve the rubbing/hitting of the fender issue. Keep us posted.
