Default 48 Owners - How tall are you?

Just curious as I'm just about 6'0 and after riding my (48) a good bit I'm starting to wish the forward controls were more.....forward. In particular the rear brake. The angle my foot is in to push the pedal is uncomfortable. I'm new to Harley's (new to motorcycles) but it seems like everything is customizable. Hoping the controls are. Any info would be appreciated!

I have an Iron, I'm 6'2" and after switching to forwards have no problems.

The distance is about the same on the Iron with Forwards as on the 48?

Maybe I just need more time to get used to it.

I not 100%, but with them being the same frame, and transmission, I would think the mounting points would be the same.

You could try foot pegs that are positionable. I know DK makes some. You could always adjust the shift lever, the brake lever on the other hand I don't think is movable.

6'3", but I found the forwards to be real hard on my ***. Moved to mids, and have been much happier.

I'm 6'0 and forwards were me comfortable then mids were for me. I also use my passenger pegs a lot though just to move my legs around when riding and its just easier and less strenuous on the highway with all the wind resistance.

you just need a crash bar & highway pegs, you wont regret it. Also I'm sure someone has already mentioned that it has been said that a mustang seats will set you back about an inch.

yes it's true that you are too tall for a sportster but the problem is that all these bikes are set-up for the same size riders anyway, the dynas have no more leg room than the sportsters, they are all setup for 5'8" riders which is the average height.

It's your inseams that actually matter, not your height.
