I am getting really frustrated with this. The bags that was initially sent to me did not fit so I sent them back to exchange them. I paid shipping on the initial set of bags, which even though the website said would fit did not fit. I requested to have another set sent to me and last night called to arrange that and shipping was not mentioned. Then today I got an email stating that Viking bags wants me to pay shipping again for a mistake that was made by their company.

other issues:
- Box had been opened before I got it and it did not include all the hardware
- Your company wanted me to pay to ship them back.
- I was discussing this issue on chat and your worker disconnected on me.
- The customer service reps have been rude and not helpful.

All I want is a set of bags that will fit and to not have to pay for shipping twice (almost 80 dollars) or I want my money fully refunded to include shipping.
Thanks for the post. I've been thinking about getting some Viking bags, but yours and other members post have swayed me not to deal with their company.

What bags did you get and what bike do you have? Their bags are pretty much universal fit so just wondering.

Thanks
I also live in Hawaii (Maui). In March of 2013 (When Bobby was there) I purchased a set of the Charger Slanted Braided Saddle Bags and the Quick Release System for my 2009 H-D Sportster 883Low. They were over $400 with the shipping. Three days ago I noticed that the stitching was broken for about 6 inches starting at the outside bottom and continuing up the front of the left bag. I do not overload them or force items into the bags. I did a chat with somebody at Viking asking if I could send the bag back for repair or replacement and was told that they do not do any repairs or replacement of their bags.

Bobby took care of problems like this, I guess that Viking bags just doesn't care about their customers any more.

I used to reccomend Viking bags but it is for this reason that I can not reccomend Viking or any other company that flatly refuses to stand behind their product. My Sportster is stored under cover, the bags are 18 months old and have not been abused. I will never purchase from Viking again and caution any who do to not expect any customer service if you have a problem with their product.

THEY OFFER NO GUARANTEE AND THEY WILL NOT REPAIR ANY DEFECTIVE BAGS
