Default So I push started my 2013 Forty-Eight and HOLY CRAP!!!

So as I reported in an earlier post about my battery draining while she was sitting after a day or two. Well I took the bike to work and let her sit for a few hours. After my shift the annoying click sound graced my ears. I had to get her home, I really wasn't trying to leave her there. I attempted to push start her, after the fifth time I got her running. She was revving high, around 3000 RPM's and did not calm down. I rushed to get her home, while I was riding I swear I thought she was gonna blow up on me, I had to let go of the clutch a bit and apply the brake to let her to calm down. I noticed the speedometer was going haywire, a code kept showing up on the mileage screen. I got her on the highway and she started popping hard, the throttle did not respond well and finally she just gave up and shut-off. In an attempt to get her started again, I merged onto the emergency lane, I then pressed the kill-switch and turn it on again while holding in the clutch in 5th gear. I let go of the clutch, the real wheel locked up and sent me fishtailing (Pucker Factor: 9.5). I pulled the clutch in and slowed her down. Took two hours to get a tow. We'll see if I didn't damage anything. I'll keep you all posted!!!

Just chilling waiting, trying not to get hit by traffic on 495.

At least I learned how to strap her down. Haha

I don't think you puckered enough - That 1st pic looks like you left something on the seat.

You might have a loose electrical connection somewhere or one of the new fangled computerized components is shot.
Find out what the code is and go from there.

Don't let the clutch out after you've lost a lot of speed Marine! (with a non running engine) You have no way of matching engine speed with the rear wheel if the engine isn't running. Course, you know that now Glad you're ok and I hope you get the bike sorted.

I learned a lot that day. So far the shop is telling me that the computer lost its "values". They are saying that I lost the tune and that these is definitely something really wrong with the bike. They are taking their sweet time diagnosing this issue. I hope I can get this issue fixed by winter or I am getting a new bike and it WON'T be a Harley!

You are ready to bail on Harley after 24 hours at the dealership and your first problem?

You probably should sell it.

Did the damage come from push starting?

Yeah, better sell it before it really freaks you out.

Every symptom you listed points at a loose or dirty battery cable or a bad battery.
