How do they decide what parts get the Dark Custom look, all the black? Any word on what they are for 2015?

 

I didn't know they were getting updated on Tuesday. We'll find out till then?

Not really impressed with this year's colors.. the blue isn't terrible, but that radioactive green better look WAY nicer in person or it gets a huge WTF from me.. and I even work at a nuke plant. Not a fan of all the silver, and hugely disappointed the Fat Bob and the Breakout no longer come in Amber Whiskey.. they were my go-to if I was going to get a bigger bike, but I love the Amber Whiskey color

 

I took a look at the HD website and aside from the two new colors I didn’t see anything new or different on the bike. You might save a bit of $$$ if you just go for a 2014 instead of a 2015. IMO

I also think they should have made one of their gray colors an ARMY green denim color.IMO.

 

So the main difference in the Iron for 2015 is the machete wheel and sprocket options. The color pallet went from sand, black, orange and purple down to sand, black, silver and glitter silver.

This was a very disappointing reveal. I wouldn't be surprised if they just take a bunch of unsold 2014's and rebadge them as 2015's to save some cash.

I'm selling my '08 Nightster

It's black/silver (Spurs colors), i've already got a wrapped V&H's competition exhaust on it, Screaming Eagle Intake, Thundermax ECU, 2up Seat, passenger pegs, flat-black 1/4 fairing, licks solo bag, and dual Tach/Speedo.

Only selling it due to a back injury and needing to pay some bills, haven't even listed it in the paper yet - if you're interested - hit me up.

I just got the email that the 2015 bikes are up on the HD website. Doesn't look like there are any changes on the Iron.
