Default Mirror Issue

I have a 883L. I see more of my arm than behind me. I see harley has some mirror extensions. Anyone have any experience with these? I am trying to decide on the extensions or just get new mirrors with longer arms. I think the new mirrors would do the trick but I already have a vibration problem in the mirrors...the longer arms may make it worse. Suggestions?

That's on my list as well. I know some people flip them upside down but I think if the arm was another inch or 2 longer it would be fine..

HD mirror extensions only place the mirror higher AFAIK, but to resolve the issue and have your rear view not obstructed by your arms, you need to move them laterally, to the outside.

This is what I did: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/12240066-post16.html.

i bought long stem mirrors from jp cycle for my superlow and they make a world of difference in traffic, the extra vibration is mainly at idle but it's worth it to be able to see behind me

I also have an 883L and had the same problem. I had some chrome cash that needed to be used, am not into 'bling', so I bought those extensions.

That solved the problem. Of course I still mainly turn my head when it is needed. Mirrors can only do so much.

Flip them and see if you like that. I had the same problem until I flipped them I see a lot better and I like the look better.

I read they hit the larger tank of the super lows if you flip them, not to mention I know my right turn signal is definitely in the way.

Yea I have the 3.3 tank and it almost hits so if my tank were any bigger I couldn't do it.
