Need help on 883 rebuild
I recently acquired a 1994 sportster xlh883 deluxe. I am a mechanic at a used car dealership and the bike was sold in 2012 (in one piece) and when it was repossessed it was done so in 2 separate runs... The pipes and bike were done the first night and the second night yielded the rear cylinder, heads and various hardware pieces. I have been trying to find somewhere to purchase a complete rebuild for the bottom end and i can't seem to find anything. Has anyone succeeded in locating this "elusive" kit? Also i intend to do this myself because lets face it theres no better joy than throwing your leg over something that you put your blood, sweat and an occasional tear or two into. Anyone have a recommendation as to what manual to purchase for this project? I will post pictures of what ive gotten into myself, lol. Thanks in advance!!

You might check out this website http://hammerperf.com if you're doing some work you might want to bump it up to a 1200 or 1250 cc

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF.
The books most worth having are the factory service manual and parts book. You can see the illustrations on-line, as posted above, but there is additional info, such as details of every fastener (thread, length etc) in the book. Between those two (the service manual is model and sometime year specific) you should have all the detailed info you need.
For secondhand stuff I use US Ebay, despite living in the UK (package received only yesterday). For new parts either your local friendly dealer, local indy, or one of the several on-line parts warehouses. You'll find the chaps in here very helpful when you have specific queries.

Since it sounds like it's in pieces, I'd call either Hammer Performance or NRHS and see if they can help. I'd imagine their 1250 kits (small fins for your 1994) are only about $600 or less (I think I saw them at Hammer for $540???). I'm sure the dealer can't beat that. Plus, I know Hammer has done a lot of research on the crankshafts and even has an upgrade, but probably has a lot of lower end knowledge, as does NRHS of course. Both are experts and great customer service.
