Im in the Keys and would rather not have to drive all the way up to miami to pick up cables. I have some 14" apes that came with my bike (forty eight) but they arent for me. I guess my question is. Which cables do I need and what length for a set of biltwel zeds? My current bars are internally wired and I'd like to internally wire the new ones. Thanks all!

 

You should have more than enough cable. Zeds are only 5" tall. I installed mine, internally wired and all with the stock cables from the factory. Project took about 2 hours. You can tuck the excess of the cables under your tank. Zeds don't come drilled for wiring. So you would have to cut the openings yourself. Not hard. You should be able to unpin the cables from the connector clips. But your brake line might end up being a little too long now.

 

I figured I would have enough... I can just cut the wires down but as far as the clutch/throttle/brake cables I am not sure what length/part # to order if anyone has any insight?. I have no problem machining the bars to wire, I will most likely cut them down a bit narrower as well.

I think I will end up with the Lick 8" z's
