You guys have it ALL WRONG.
There's a very well kept secret to uber performance in the European theater that the OP forget to tell us about, that until recently had been totally kept under wraps...and that's the use of a flügelhorn as an intake. You simply replace your existing lame air intake with a flügelhorn, and as long as you play an F# two octaves above middle C while running WOT, the increase in performance is undeniable. And for total 120HP+ gains on pump gas you can go a step further and add to the flügelhorn intake a 2-into-1+bass trombone exhaust, also tuned to play an F#, but this time two octaves below middle C - for perfect harmonics and a deep tone! Dear Lord...the last time this was done the dynamometer blew up! Even the mighty Power Vision tuner is incapable of adding such performance...sigh...

I agree, your Harley dealer is blowing smoke up your rear trying to make it look like you spent your money well. Take it to an indy you will get the straight poop there, I could tell it was make a lot less HP just by listening to it. Those pipes are probably costing you 10 HP.
Sorry don't mean to sound like a dick. You just can't trust a Harley Dyno, they lie.
