Default Clean slate on 2nd 48

So I decided I should finally do my own build thread and consolidate everything in one area. Seeing that I already have this thread up...I will dedicate all my upgrades n such here for my/your viewing pleasure! See below...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glad to announce that I took delivery today on my 2nd 2014 Forty-Eight! Insurance settlement was a good experience and I will be starting over with a new canvass with this beauty! This time shes ABS!

On a side note:

I got a few comments when I posted about getting another 48 after the ACCIDENT in July... Things like "Why would you get another bike?" and "Didn't you learn your lesson?" hahahahah I just thought it was funny...

Of course I would get another bike! I love this ****! And the lesson I learned...NEVER give other motorists the benefit of thinking they are remotely intelligent when behind the wheel...

Removed the reflectors...no heat gun just floss and wd40.

Just some minor stuff for now as I'm waiting on parts to arrive...

Good to see it worked out. I hear you on people's comments about getting another bike. I was still on the backboard in the ER when my dad said, "did you learn your lesson?" I am on my 4 bike now. It definitely makes you more aware that you are invisible to other drivers.

Glad you are back on 2 wheels & satisfied with the insurance settlement.
The wife grew up in Guam, and we are planning a quick trip over in the next couple of months. Are there any places to rent a bike for a day or two?

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing the changes you make to your new 48. I'm on my 5th bike since I went down in 1997.

Nothing wrong with the brakes as long as you ride with some sense.
