Default 883 cuts off when I brake hard

So I need some help from the guru's. I noticed this a day ago when I came up to a stop light and the light did a quick change. I used the front brake harder than I typically would and the bike for a split second shut off and then came back on.... Seems like something's loose. No recent mods have been done, but I do have new handlebars and a tank lift for about 3k. when I hit bumps the headlight does a little flicker too. I was thinking maybe a loose fuse or a pinched wire somewhere... Or maybe a sensor of some type. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would start by listing the bike's year and mileage.

You may indeed have a pinched wire inside the handlebar switches, from the handlebar swap, although that doesn't entirely fit with braking hard.

It is very consistent though... If I get a handful it does it.

Ok so I got to the source by just messing around. With the key turned to on but without the engine running; if I push the shifter down as far as it goes and hold it down, I loose all power and the bike power stays off until I let up. It does not do this when I hold the shifter all the way up. I don't think it's a pinched wire at all. Is there a sensor inside the left foot shift assembly in the chain casing somewhere that could be going bad???? This has me a little concerned.

Something else worth noting.. Once again, with the bike engine off but the key in the on position it just sat on the bike and rocked it back and forth. When I would push Down on the front shocks, the lights would flickr.... I'm starting to think electrical short again...either way I'm lost
