Is there any way to make my forward controls a little more forward?

There are a few out there , I have really long legs too and thought about a couple more inches might be pretty neat.

I added kuryakyn forward control extensions to my dyna fatbob, I think they were 2 or 3", helped big time and solid product, check with them.
