Sportster 48 rear fender in vivid black with mudguard and brace.

This fender is not perfect. It does have some minor surface scratches but nothing too bad. I was planning to install it as-is on my sporty, but I ended up selling the bike before I got around to it. If you are the type that wants your bike flawless then you will want to paint or powder coat it, but IMO you could install it like this and it would look sweet.

 

Are the scratchers very light? I can't see them in the pic. Do you have a close up?

 

They are just surface scratches, but they are noticeable if you inspect the fender. Like I said , I was planning to run this fender as-is, but my bike was an 04 so a few scratches didn't bother me. It is very difficult to capture in a photograph on glossy paint. Kinda hard to separate the scratches from the reflections. A nice gloss black powder coating and this thing would look awesome. I'm not sure if you have priced them on ebay, but if the paint was perfect I would be asking a lot more than $100 plus shipping.
