Will this fit a 883 iron? What size tank was on the 1200?

 

the tank for the xl1200C is 4.5 gallons. According to Harley-Davidson.com, the seat would fit on an 883 Custom, at least 07-09 models. It might fit other years, as well, but I don't know, and the HD website is somewhat limited in the info it provides.
