What stock sportster seat would you consider? My wife has a 2015 1200c with 890 miles and she's looking for a solo seat.

 

We were looking for a 2016 new style stock seat.

 

For what model Sportster? The part number you give on the Mustang seat is for a 4.5 gal tank. If it's a 1200c I believe the part number is the same. If it's a 1200t then it's different.

The mustang seat should work on all tank sizes. This is off our xl1200x.

 

I don't believe the seat from my wife' 1200c will fit a 48. Wish it did. Good luck on the sale.

Just so you know the facts I wasn't talking about the Mustang seat fitting my wife's bike I was stating I don't believe the seat from my wife's bike will fit your wife's 48 because the 48 has the smaller tank. Just sitting the record straight. But still good luck on the sale.

 

Sportsters of the same year have identical frames. You can install any seat that goes on, say, a 2012 1200C or 1200N onto a 1200 V or X.
