Reduced Reach 2 up Seat
#3
Doesn't the nightster have the smaller tank? This seat is for models with the larger, 4.5 gallon tank. You can see it on the Harley parts site on a bike. It's not a super low profile- bad-*** type seat. It's more about ergonomics and comfort- at least that's how it seems to me.

Thanks for the input erbie07nightster. HD lists this seat as only being for the 4.5 gallon bikes. Since I haven't personally tried this seat on a bike with the 3.3 gallon tank, I was basically passing along the information the mfg provides regarding fitment. If others have tried this seat on the 3.3 gallon tank bikes- I defer to them on that issue.
With that said, this seat can be purchased for any application as long as the buyer doesn't hold my feet to the fire for any "off label" usage so to speak.

Well, I guess I will qualify what I said. I know that is the case with the seat I'm currently running on my N. When I ordered my Barebones, I was given the option of getting the seat for the 3.3 or getting the 4.5 seat if I wanted to keep the gap. I'm just assuming that the same will go with the HD seats, so take it for what you will. If you know a decent parts guy that you trust at your local dealer, I'm sure they could tell you.
