For anyone with a 2009 model I also have the ECM cover so you don't need to relocate it. If you do end up using the ECM cover one of the screws needs to be replaced, easy fix.

Its better than the stock seat but I find my badlander seat a little more comfortable. My butt is a little wide too though haha
I rode the springer seat with struts on my bike and it was actually fairly comfortable
