It will fit, however there will be a gap in between the seat and the tank. I have one of these seats and prefer it to my mustang touring. I like sitting low in the bike and have doe 200 mile days on it. It is better than stock, however you better toughen your *** up. HA!

 

what is the feel of the seat compared to the stock solo seat? anymore or less cushion?

 

I would say it's got about the same cushion amount but a better shape (for me anyway)
