I recently purchased a 2012 iron and these bags were on it. The original owner had them put on, but I do not care for them. When I bought the bike, they were installed, but I have no idea for how long. Could be from the day he bought it, or a month before he sold it... your guess is as good as mine. All in all, I am not looking to get retail, but they are in awesome shape and were quite pricey when new. I would rate the the right bag as a 9 out of 10 and the left at a 7 out of 10 because of a light scratch that the dealership put on it when they rubbed it on another bike during an oil change.
