The narrow front profile brings your legs closer together to help you plant your feet firmly on the ground. Do you think that would work with a 4.5 tank

 

While I cannot give you a definite answer, I will say that I run a biltwell seat now that is universal to all the different sized tanks. So in theory this seat SHOULD work for your bike

upon further research, this will not work with a 4.5 gal tank unless modified. this seat only fits peanut tanks that are 2.2 and 3.3 gal

It bolts right up but you need to relocate your ecm. Simple and quick thing to do but some guys are just not comfortable with doing it. Let me know and I can shoot you some info with a tutorial on how to do it.
