I have been to Rome, but somehow did not get a harley shirt there. I don't think we are going to go back to Rome, so I would like to get a shirt still. I wear an XL. I live in Germany, and can get shirts fairly easy from Munich, Nuremberg, or Regensberg.

HD has been screwing it's customers for longer than most care to remember. Having their crap made over seas for as little as they can pay for it to be made (which is why it is crap and not where it is made) then flogging the crap off to consumers for as much as they can con them into paying. Simply put - if it says HD then it is probably crap and should be viewed as a warning rather than a recommendation.

A very good example - HD Harness Boots complete with plastic/nylon **** quality zippers sell for some where around $240. X Element Harness Boots (Milwaukee made I believe) heavier leather and Japanese Quality Metal Zips for half the price. How do I know - cos I just bought a pair.

 

We were at the the HD's dealer in Athens, Greece while on vacation. I wanted to buy a tee-shirt with the dealers name and country. According to the sale person, she told me they were all sold out since one person purchase all these tee-shirts.

 

Seems as though stealerships are only carrying a minimal quantity of certain products. When I went looking for boots, the three stealerships I went into only had 5 designs and only two or three sizes per design. For example, 1 Harness Boot with only 2 or 3 sizes of it and so on. Only way to buy anything now a days is on line - which isn't exactly conducive when it comes to foot wear and or clothing, especially when there is a NO RETURN/EXCHANGE/REFUND policy.
