Last summer I put a 205/60/16 on the back and really liked it. The bike has been all through the Colorado Rockies including the top of Pikes Peak and Mt Evans.

This week I'm going to install a Battlax 150/70/17 on the front. Measured it out and it should fit nicely.

It seems to handle just fine. Only 50 miles on it after finally getting it put on earlier this evening.
I like the look of the fatter tire up front.

 

How's it going with that Battlax tire? Would you recommend it? I'm gonna have to get a new front tire in a couple weeks. Looking at options.

This is my 4th Battle Ax. I've gotten at least 20K off each one. If you do a lot of freeway riding, you can get closer to 30K out of it.

I like the Battlax 150/70/17 the tire handles fine. I like the look of the bigger tire up front. I will do it again but hopefully in about 25 thousand miles.
