Default 2013 electra glide ultra limited

hello guys! new to the dark side forum. I have a 2013 electra glide ultra limited. what would be the best cts to put on my bike? I know you guys have already studied this and would be interested in your advice. I rode a Honda gold wing one time that had a car tire on it and it was very weird going into curves and getting it up on the side wall. is this common with all cts? Thanks for any help!

Default Car tire

I also have a 2013 UL. Right now I have a Yokohama runflat tire on it. I like the Michelin Alpin better.

I would go with a run flat tire. They are hard to mount at the house, but I like the reassurance of a run flat.

The Michelin Alpin is the best handling tire I have found.

If you just took a couple of mile ride on a car tire before, I wouldn't use that to make a decision on whether to go with a car tire or not.

If was about to replace my car tire, I would also give serious consideration to the Alpin. Nothing at all wrong with my GMax, I just always wonder if there is something better. Thats what got me riding Dark Side to start with.

I run 195 60 16 for tire size at 29lbs on my 2013 flhtc . seems to be a good setup
Also ran that size on my 2011 RK and worked well there.

Go with a 55 size and your speedo is off quite a bit. TomTom says I am only a mile or so off on the 60.

Anyone ever run a Kumho Ecsta PA31? from the stats looks good for wet weather.

That is a good call! I put a Mich Primacy on my 2009 GW and the ride was smooth not to mention after 10,000 miles my tire still looked new. I also feel you get better traction in slick conditions.

Ive ran a regular tire and a run flat. I much prefer teh Run flat. Just seems more solid. used my power vision to correct my speedo. It is dead on now.

I run the 205/60r16 Yokohama ENVigor (not run flat) on the back and I like it. To date I have yet to have a problem with it other than one flat, but I carry a tire plug kit and a small portable air compressor that fits in my saddlebags and plugs into where the battery tender plugs in.

I ride a 2010 Street Glide for reference.
