Thanks gents. The weight rating on the bike tire is almost maxed out so I do see the benefits to a car tire. There are other ones also. I’ve been watching a ton of videos on YouTube on this subject. It seems almost all who changed over to the dark side prefer it. From what I can see the big touring rigs really benefit . Chris Caliente has a pretty good YouTube channel and has been praising the dark side.

Anyone running Darkside on 16x3 spoked rims? If so what tubes are you using?

I have mounted the car tire myself . One thing you have to run the air pressure up to seal the bead then let it back to where you want it. Local dealer will install and mount a car tire

Question 05 rg

Has anyone put a C/T on a 05 RG ? Had one on a Honda Year ago , but was a 15" wheel and was able to find one that was thin enough to fit, Now Im having a 16' wheel, Not o much luck. The stock MU 85 b 16 = 140/90/16 , most are Temp Spar C/Ts

any one have an ideal ?
