Why would you mount them backwards?

I'm jealous...I tried to fit one on my 07 FLHTC but my fender is not mounted exactly centered.

No, do not mount backwards on the rear.

That, and if I am not mistaken your rim is too narrow.

No there is a tire that works on that rim but the fender is not centered perfectly so I stuck with the M/C.

ok finally got the bike out yesterday with the c/t. rides really well , the cornering is better than i expected it to be , the only thing that i noticed is the crown in some roads , it will move you around at slower speeds. but let me tell you i will never go back to a m/t.

I just did, but not because I wanted to. The 17" C/T just didn't seem to bead up like it should. (way to loose) So went back to bike tire. Sure wish my Dyna had 16 or 15"" rims. I have ran C/T for 40 years and love them.

OK I will give you that one. That's a legit reason.
