I知 thinking of going to CTs on my next tire change I have a 2012 FLSTC and have a few questions this seems to be the best place to get honest answers I have been riding for over 40 years I知 not a speed demon but will run 15 to 25 over the speed limit in the twisties I drag the floorboards from time to time but 80%t of my riding is regular roads and freeway here in Ohio. 1. Do I need to run CTs on both the front and rear what would be the best combination? 2. I have spoke wheels will there be any issues using a tube with the CTs 3. What would be the best tires for my bike? 4. Will I need to modify anything to make this happen? I may have more questions later. Thanks Rick

Welcome to the darkside.

1. It is not common nor easy to find a car tire for the front. Almost everyone just runs a CT in the rear.
2. Sorry but I have no experience with wire wheels. Hope someone can help here.
3. Most people post their CT make and size. Just choose on you like.
4. If your running a 180 now you can go as big as 205 with no mods. I went with a 195 for the first one. Putting it side by side to the stock tire it looks huge. I had a spare set of wheels and after I mounted the CT and it looked the same. I bought mine from ....um....um that Walmart place. Mounted it myself.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Someone needs to help this fellow with the spoke question. I believe I read a posting saying all new HD's are tubeless. What is your tire now? Is it tubeless?

Once the above is answered... GOTO Tirerack.com,,,,, Search by tire size..... Type 195/55/16..... Pick out the tire you like.... OR Search your local tire dealers.

Alot of people run 205's but I still run a 195.

Hope this helps???

There are tubes in the tire and Thanks for the list. Will running tubes in a tubeless tire be a problem?

That is the question.

I don't personally know of anyone running a CT with spoked wheels

No, if you can find the right size tube it won't be a problem.
