Jacked up wires pulled n replaced. New tire, Yoko Avid 195-60-16, dropped on and in. New brakes while I was there too boot. Now just have to wait for all this frickin rain to stop to give it a test shot!!!!!!! Fit was a tad snug, had to tweak the belt guard and inside fender just a pinch, but it is in and ready.

I am sure that we will soon be reading in the paper that the authorities are be trying to figure out why you "spontaneously combusted". We will already know that was because you put a car tire on an your motorcycle. I told Wibur and I told Orville...
Oh wait, I have a car tire on my bike...

Well. Went and dropped bike down off stand and got ready to roll out. Bike felt "Sticky" when trying to push. Come to find out that the tire when it had the bike on it, become too wide to fit inside the fender w/o rubbing. No matter what. Pulled tire n ordered a GoodYear Assurance Fuel Max in 175-60-16. Mounted and had clearance. Put bike down, good to go!! Get out on rode, OMFG!!!!!!!! It felt like it was on ice
Once I got over 45 MPH, the rear of the bike began a side to side slide like I was running on a near flat tire. Make it 3 miles to my partners house and we do everything we can, even run the tire up to max tire pressure and come to find out that the side walls/tire are too soft to carry a narrower rim than a car rim. The tire was bulged out to the side even at max pressure looking like a near flat. NO GOOD!!!!! Pulled tire, went back to a bike tire for now. Leaving for Texas in 2 weeks, no time for any more experiments. Will look around and see what I can find for later.
