RDRS has to be tuned just as the engine has to be tuned when making performance changes. If your going to make small changes it typically works. When you start putting cams and compression into the mix things change in a hurry. No need to turn it off to tune or run a dyno with it. As a matter of fact you are best NOT to turn it off on the dyno as many issues can be found and resolved right on the dyno!

I understand this is an old reply but. Vision has a table where you can turn it off to tune. Then after tune you just turn it back on. I hear Vision can do the 21's along with Techno Research. Seems to me. The dot com store that push's Vision, and buys a new bike every year to "create cals" should have some numbers up for the 21's with all sorts of mods and Wood's cam choices. Yet, they don't. I can only assume things aren't working out like they would like for you to believe. I have only seen a 20, and it looks to me like RDRS is hurting power up top. Blames it on clutch slip at 5800 and the guys sells AIM's lock ups painted green????? So, who knows what is really going on. I am small and don't advertise. In my 10 plus years I have always been about 8-9 months behind everyone with seeing the latest models. With this new system I am first to post a 21 sheet of a built engine?

So everyone knows the new 2023 models use new calibrations in all the bikes except Softails. This mean that you should not be using calibrations developed for a 2021 or 2022 Touring bike in a 2023 Touring bike. While we cannot find major differences in the hardware on the bikes yet, there is some reason that HD went to all the trouble to change them for 2023 models. The earlier models all got updates along the way but they all ended up using the latest updates for all the bikes for the 2021 & 2022. Something to be careful of for all the home tuners out there.

Default 2023 street glide special

I’ve had nothing but problems with my 23. Had a 122 kit installed and taken off, then went to the 131 kit rode it for less than 100 miles and major oil leak! Bandaged enough to make it to Daytona for bike week and dropped back at the dealership where the motor has been torn back apart for the 4th time now! New heads, pistons, piston rings, cylinders, SE oil pump, SE heavy breather and we wait to see if this works! Had to have a tech from corporate come to figure out the problem but at this point seems to be a guessing game. BUT they did get me the new tuner designed for 22-new model bikes because they only offered a “download” before. So yes there is now a tuner available!! But I’m still waiting for the “break in” then dyno bound! $450 for the new tuner fyi.
