The tick is most likely from the cam upgrade. More aggressive cams usually are louder than stock cams. Also it can be a push rod tapping the push rod cover.

Thats what i was thinking but the tick seams to coming more from the left side then the right side.

Then it's most likely coming from the new cam which is normal. Rockouts can help.
