TTS: How does my plan sound
Bought a used 2006 Lowrider, 8200 miles, Ness high flow air filter, V&H Long shots (I later installed quiet baffle). Owner told me it had been dyno tuned at Alef's HD in Wichita. While riding it noticed a slight "stumble" when running 25 to 30 mph. Changed out the plugs, ran injector cleaner through it. Still stumbles. Researched this forum, found out the 2006's came with 8 degree injectors and some were switched out to 25 degree injectors. I called Alef's HD and spoke with service mgr. He told me it had been tuned there, with a TTS tuner. I also found out the owner moved to PA. No way to get the tuner from him. He also told me switching injectors was "plug and play". Spoke with the service mgr at City Cycle who also said the injectors were P&P. Spoke with TTS and was told a new TTS would hook right up to my ECM no problem.
Plan: Swap out injectors to 25 degree. Hook up the TTS in flight control mode and ride for a day or so. Try to hit hills, fast, slow, different gears, two up, one up, etc. Then take the data and look at it, make tweeks as necessary to the previously installed map (tune).
How does his sound to you who have a lot more know how than I have.
Thanks in advance.
