Default SEPST help

Can anyone tell me what the colors mean in the VI tables mean? I tried the smart tune for the first time . I noticed changes in the tables that were red and green in color but know purple. I'm new to this tuner so any help would be great !

Go ahead and take a peek at the tuning manual. After reading the manual a couple times you should know enough to SmartTune your bike.
The procedure requires a bit of knowledge about how the tuning process works.
Read,read, and re read, then ask.

From the help file-

The violet region is currently selected;

The turquoise region indicates that these values were changed;

The red indicates that these values are at their maximum allowable values;

The green indicates that these values are at their minimum allowable values;

Cells in the Air-Fuel table (whether displayed as ratio or lambda value) that are displayed in bold font are in closed-loop control.
White cells are unchanged.

hey thanks . I figured that out . I been running a few smart tunes seems I can never get but a few changes is smart tune always seem to be some in the middle that change and that's it. I run though all the gears and steady and slow and still hardly any changes I am also getting codes that say I'm running rich all the time so idk what I'm doing wrong.

Have you looked at the online training?

I found it very helpful.

If you start with a calibration that is too rich (per your log data) for your build, Smartune cannot get close enough signalling to work as expected.
You would need to identify where the excessively rich condition(s) occurs and enlean that area so Smartune can do its job.
Or maybe a better/closer calibration is available and would work better.
Without the build/exhaust particulars all anyone can do is a WAG.

thanks . I did cobra 2n2 pipes with baffles 510 39 grind cams and a stage 2 air cleaner. I did the stage one tune for my big I don't know the exact tune off had tell I look on my computer. But it said it was for fre flow exhaust stage on breather. But nothing about cams. So maybe I'd be better off loading the original tune back in? Then smart tune? Idk but I would like to know what cells to lean out then try again.

You would be best off looking to see what base tunes there are for a cam with similar specs to the one that you installed and use that to start with, then smart tune.

yea I think I might try that . I talked to my local guy who does dyno tuning and he told me that when you add cams it usually leans out the bike and I'm running rich so idk I guess I will try another tune
