Traditionally the Annual Florida Crew Ocala Rally is held around Veteran's Day weekend. Veteran's Day being November 11th falls on a Wednesday this year. I am thinking the Rally would be held the weekend before Veteran's Day again this year putting it 2 weeks after Biketoberfest which is Oct 15th through the 18th.
Your thoughts?

I thought the rally was held the 2nd weekend of November. It just happened to fall around Veteran's Holiday. But it is up the crew. i just need to know by June so I can get the hotel set up.

I am just throwing it out there. The 2nd weekend in November is a good description and is more solid the Veterans Day. We can go with that. It was good for some when Veteran's Day fell on a Monday or Friday. I knew some didn't want it to close to Biketoberfest as to cause problems with getting a weekend pass.
Lauren it is typically cold for the Rally even if it was warm the week before. Where the 2nd weekend was the 8th and 9th last year it will be the 14th and 15th this year. Wear you woolies.
I had to secure my vacations before the new year started. I was sure that it would be the earlier weekend.
I am riding out west again this Fall, the rally will be part of my ride home.

Yes, historically the rally has been planned for the 2nd weekend of Nov.
One of the reasons for doing the second weekend vs the first was to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Roscoe's Chili Challenge, which is held the first weekend in Nov. This year it's Nov, 5th - 8th.
So what date is the rally? Is 13-15th correct? If so, Murph can you post the date in the usual rally section and I'll make it a sticky (no jokes from the cheap seats thank you).
