Default Insuring a salvage title bike in Florida question?

I was hit when I moved here, now because of the estimate for the repairs they have totaled my motorcycle. Not because there was frame damage or anything , but lots of custom parts. So I bought the bike back and am having it redone. But because it was totaled they are going to issue a salvage title. Does anyone around Florida have a salvage title bike, and if so where do you get your insurance? Thank you.

You wreck it, you own it.....it is still yours. Pay the damage. Easy chessy.

We appraise a lot of Salvage title bikes for insurance. Insurance Co's do not want to take liability to repair them so they total them out many times with minimal damage.

I've got a friend with a salvage title bike in FL. He's insured with Progressive.

What other appraisals do you do for insurance companies regarding bikes?

Mostly Actual Cash Value ACV either before or after accidents.

Stated value for obtaining a policy at a specific amount.

It's a lot easier to determine and defend a value if there is an appraisal on any vehicle before a claim.

We also do Diminished Value but they are mostly on cars/trucks.
