1st trip to Leesburg, any good places to stay and do? Thanks for any info

 

not sure how old u are but mount Dora is a nice town. i believe they have some places to stay. u better check now cuz it will fill up. there is a cool bar and grill on lake weir called gator joes. they have a redneck beach there and food is good. went to another bar called crazy catz, i think that is the name. they had vibrator races down a piece of corrugated roofing. if u want to do some good riding go up to the pig pen in ocala. or the 88 store. they have cold beer but the scenery is great.

 

There's some nice riding through the Ocala National Forest, also there's the Ozella Trail.

Just hanging out on Main Street and watching all of the different bikes ride the strip. Sometimes you will see a bike that was so cool, you were glad you hung out for an hour...
Check out the bikes shows and see some custom bikes. Some stoopid looking, some looking pretty good.
Listen to some cool bands on any of the different stages, or on the other hand, laugh at or shake yer head and walk away from some crappy bands, but you can always laugh at them later when telling other people about them.
Vendors, Lots of 'em. Some have great prices, some not so great. some have great items that make ya think ya need 'em, others? well....
Walk the strip. Stop and grab an appetizer at any of the old downtown restaurants.
