Daytona to Naples

That trip will probably involve an interstate ride, a country road/city ride, or a combination of both. I haven't found a route that doesn't involve some areas of heavy traffic congestion. I usually swing out to the west of Orlando by going to DeLand, Eustis, Leesburg, & Clermont. From there I sometimes go to Haines City & take 27 to 29 to LaBelle then over to Naples. Other trips I've gone from Clermont to Winter Haven then down 17 to Port Charlotte and jumped on I-75 down to Naples. There are some nice stretches of road, a bit of traffic at times, but IMO, anything is better than I-4 through Orlando.

Your time frame is a little tight. Daytona is about 4 1/2 hrs out on the big road and I agree with Daytona Fat Boy you want to avoid I-4 through Orlando. Hell, avoid the 407 LATA at all cost.
Anyway, An idea, not necessarily a good one, would be come down US 1 to at least Cocoa consider the Tropical Trail into Melbourne and stay on A1A into at least Fort Pierce then cut across toward Lake Okeechobee. I prefer the east side of the Lake down to 27 in South Bay then consider a couple different ways either down 27 across 41 or across 80 to 29 or if time is issue at this point blow across 80 to I-75 to blow south.
Ride Safe -- Have Fun

And like Gator said, avoid I4 at all cost.

40 w, 19, 33, 17, 31 will run you to fort myers. Or run over to 27 by frostproof or so. 29, 846 to Naples.
Been on most of these roads and they are decent to nice roads with some towns and stop lights.
The Orlando corridor is the worst, the farther west the better.
