Daytona to grills/eau gallie
Hoping to get my work done early Saturday (21st) and take a ride
to Grills for Clams and Conch fritters. I do not know if
Barbara will be UP for it, but I would like to ride. I normally take
US 1 South to a little past Frontenac flea market, then take
Riverside Drive to Cocoa, left at the bridge to Tropical Trail. It dumps
out into Satellite Beach and from there go North on South Patrick Drive,
turn left just before the Air Force Base back to US1...and north a half mile
to Grills. That's my plans. (Hope they don't get screwed up).
Hope to be leaving home at about 10:45, 11:00-ish.

I've been on that ride with you a couple times, one of them was with Kay and 1of2, Eddy was there and a few others.
That is a nice ride! I bet the plumeria is in full bloom just north of the bridge!
Having had two years of chemo and radio in the past, I can speak from experience on how it leaves a person feeling....Cater to her Chuck......

Made my solo ride to Eua Gallie.....clams were bit smaller than I had hoped.
Conch friters done just fine. Two Landshark beers and some nice conversation
with a couple from Winter Haven made my day.
Not many bikes at Grills....but the place a bit busy. A singer on stage...looked abit to me like
that Chesney guy....sung songs by Willie and some Buffett...country island rock, I guess you would say.
Temps in the upper 80's.....face a little burnt getting home. Course, hit boot hill on the way home...
always nice people there.
