Damn it, I didn't make it. Wasn't able to pull out of here until 1 and then the rain less than 5 miles. Pulled into one of the watering holes to catch the weather and ended up hanging out drinkin with those on their way back.

Just wasn't meant to be this year, oh well, always next year.

Picked up a bunch of bugs on Saturday, fairing is on the floor with a couple of soaked t-shirts doing its thing. Maggie Valley in 12 days!!!!!

 

hey Pat I am heading to Franklin North Carolina on Saturday may 9th and we're staying until the 12, on Sunday I think we're going to ride the waterfall trail through Maggie Valley maybe we can catch up

 

The tallest cliff east of the Mississipi is near there. check out Whiteside mountain.
You will be pleasantly surprised!
