"The Florida Crew" Rides and Information From The Florida Crew.

Doesn't anyone in FL know how to warn a rider about a cop ahead?

Don`t know,, If I save somebody from a fine issued just to meet their targets and fill their coffers, then it`s a job well done in my opinion.

Fining someone and issuing points for going 10mph above the limit when there is no danger is not crime fighting, it`s tax collecting.

Sry my friend, that is a myth. I think it is a fed law.....no quotas none of that stuff to fill their coffers.

How abt "obstruction" or "obstruction of justice".

A friend of mine is recently retired as a LEO and he hardly ever gave tickets. He said nothing could be done abt it since u can't pressure a LEO have quotas etc... or anything like that.

While it may be a violation of Fl law to require officers to have ticket quotas, it doesn't stop some departments from doing it. Be careful if you travel through Waldo. http://www.wtsp.com/story/news/local...otas/14674753/

Speaking from experience (25 yrs LEO retired) there are no quotas and any small department that institutes them will eventually get caught and disbanded.
If you ride somewhat close to the speed limit then you won't be bothered, if you need to go blasting down the road with your hair on fire and endangering the life's of others then you deserve everything that comes your way.

Getting in the way of a LEOs job? Not too smart I say.

So if I were to say "Slow down." before a radar gun.....it is snitching? "Do not set your self on fire..." cause for fire dept uproar?
May not ever say "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Tapping my head, raising a leg to warn of a road hazard... so if I slow
someone down, it is bad, but if a cop stops you and gives you a ticket for going too fast is good. Hmmmm....bazaro world for sure.
