Naw Tamper, Georgia folks are the nicest people in the world. There's this one time I was at the Florida/Georgia football game (aka World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party) in Jacksonville, FL of course and I was sitting behind these two Georgia boys. We were all having a good time watching the game and having our boat drinks so when it come the half time everyone was feeling quite good. Well they brought out the Georgia mascot UGA (Lauren it's a type of bulldog named after a small island nation in the north Atlantic, the name of which escapes me at the moment) Anyway, they were trotting out UGA when halfway to mid-field he stops short and proceeds to licking himself in front of all them thousands of fans. Everybody was pointing and laughing and one of them Georgia boys says in a loud voice, "Man, I wish I could do that! His buddy just shakes his head and says, " Noooo, that dog would bite yoouu!"
Like I said, nicest people in the world, very polite and always looking out for each other.
Even in Florida
...story credit to the late great Lewis Grizzard, a true son of Georgia

lmfao...that's some funny there.
Only sports I watch anymore are the college games. Use to be a Miami fan until they got caught and set back 20 years. . Bulldogs, Tide, Seminoles(old girl school) * laffs, and the Gators always big around here. Ohio was just too strong this year.
Guess I must be one them southern kinda folks...*grinz

Ha I can be a British bulldog sometimes. Great story Fishhead. Will you be at the rally in November?
I will be in GA in 2 weeks, going on the QOTR trip to Blairsville and riding the Dragon for the first time. Spending one night in LaGrange GA before heading to the Copperhead Lodge.

Lauren, the snake, huh? I haven't taken that ride yet, enjoy yourself.
Last road trip I did was Amtrak to DC, I-95 to Albany, across thru the Green mountains into NH then up to the White mountains, half way up I said screw the White mountain, lmbo, then back down into Portsmouth. Eventually picked up the Amtrak back in DC and back to Orlando.
I will say the Green mountains was enough and that White Mtn can kiss my butt. Never again, fog got too heavy about halfway.
I need to make the snake run, on my list as Sturgis is also.
Edit: Oh, I wanted to ask. A few of the locals were tellin me about the snake, they said 300+ turns within a 11 mile stretch but the brochure says 400+ in 33 miles. I'm wondering what run they were referring to, just part of it or a certain stretch.

Looks like you'll be near Suches. If you have time check out the newly reopened Two Wheels Only (TWO) and Wolf Pen Gap Rd. - lots of curves, less traffic.
