so wednesday my boy and i are going to log a few miles on the bikes. we are leaving ft lauderdale around 8:30 am....think we will have breakfast at the lesters diner on atlantic in pompano. after breakfast we are taking a ride up 95 to 706(okeechobee) heading west to 710, and picking up 76 to the lake and up and around. once around the lake we are grabbing 27 to clewiston where we are having lunch at rowland martins tiki bar. we are then heading south on 27 to 75 to 595 east then picking up 95 north and back to atlantic.....anyone want to meet us???

what a great ride we had.....my son and his girlfriend were on my 04 CVO and i was on the limited. the weather was perfect. we had breakfast and hit the road about 8:45. we had smooth sailing once we got through palm beach. the sun was shining and the rain held off all day. we stopped on the way home at roland martins for lunch and were home by 2pm...260 miles of fun. i think next week might be an alabama jack kind of wednesday....any takers??

 

I love Alabama jacks but my rides are usually need to be on a Sunday.

 

i hear ya....wednesdays are my sundays....i work every other sunday and on my off sunday the wife and i spend it together. one day we do what she wants then the other day what i want. soooooo this sunday is her turn which means we will be on the beach because last sunday off we did a bike ride....

 

by the way...luv ur bike...did u own it since it was new???
it happens to be my favorite ride....of course i would love to have the 92 white with red stripe springer...lol

 

Any time you miss the rain that's a good thing, glad to hear it was an enjoyable ride.
I dodged thunder storms yesterday, would you believe the last road to my place(2 mile stretch) I get hit...lmbo

 

Count me in for an Alabama Jacks ride next week. I can head South and meet you in Ft Laud/Cafe 27 or whatever works.
