Ah, Patriot Guard Riders. They definitely get my respect, met a few here in my area.

 

Dayum, rain lightened up for a few days it seems. I ride again...lol

 

Keep getting hammered around here, now it's moved into the evenins. Those of you ride my area know beware the back roads, seen quite a few flooded out.
Slow down and pay attention.
I know the scoot won't get detailed til next month, maybe, heheh.

 

Dodging rain here, lucky I was working today because it rained all day and I took the car to work.

 

@ Lauren...saw y'all been getting a lil rain your area too. Stay dry, and watch out for those dang puddles.

 

Went over to HDOB on Sat. for free cokes and popcorn. Then just took a ride around town. Left the house Sun. at about 1pm. Stopped and had a beer at Scooters Saloon, place was deserted, probably due to the prices. Then took a ride down through Ybor and up on the highway headed back to Brandon. Got back to the house at about 2:30 because the heat and humidity was overbearingly oppressive. Screw this weather. I'll probably take the bike out again around the beginning of October!

 

We had the tropical thunder storms for the last week that we were over.
It was so humid in the afternoon and early evening, that a dip in the pool was mandatory.
Then I sat out the back with a drink and a smoke watching the light show. It was awesome at times!!! Glad to hear that it's drying up a tad for you guys.

TD it's mostly normal summer weather here, seems like the Tampa area got it worse than usual, it hasn't been that bad a summer down south, of course it's hot.

 

heheh...I'm all ecstatic we've had two days of clear weather. Took the scoot to the gym yesterday. Jeans, boots, old 'T', and my cap. Everyone was like, 'who let the bum in'? lmfao

 

Don't worry, I am pretty sure that we are being teased by mother nature! Knowing my luck, it will rain all weekend. I live in Mulberry (South of Lakeland), but will be Orlando for the long weekend. Hope everyone has a safe Labor Day weekend!
