we are going to stay in Franklin, and just ride around the mountain roads enjoying the scenery and the relaxation

 

I actually have that exact week off with the intent of visiting a friend in NC. I just hadn't decided how I was going (or if I wanted to make that trip by myself by bike.)

 

Ycbrewster don't tempt me ...... I'd love to ride to NC again, I've already done it twice this year. Could come back thru Daytona.

 

The lightbulbs have finally started to brighten...that's a damn good idea, Lauren. I didn't even think about that. I just promised my bff a NC visit this fall, and that was the week I put in for work (pre-bike purchase). I better get that practicing in, YOU'VE just tempted ME!

I'd like to go. I'll have to do a little tweaking to my work schedule, but I think it's doable. Where are you leaving from?

 

we will be leaving Saturday morning the 10th of October, we meet at Turkey Lake service Plaza on the Florida Turnpike at 6 a.m.we'll be coming back Tuesdaythe 13th of October we're usually back around Orlando by 6 or 7 at night.
we stay at a small hotel in Franklin North Carolina called the Sapphire in if you want to make reservations

 

Thanks for the reply. I live in Tampa, so I'll probably come over the night before to meet you there. I'll let you know if I can't fix my schedule, but I should be able to.
