A group of 4 or 5 couples are making plans to go for a long get away weekend down around Stuart, Jupiter, or even a bit north in Melbourne Beach. We usually ride to the destination, park the bikes and party for a few days, then ride back to Daytona. So a variety of restaurants, bars & I guess a shopping area, would be nice to have within walking distance. Any suggestions on hotels in any of those areas?

 

Barbara and I like the Holiday Inn hotel Oceanside in Vero....at the end of highway 60. They have a nice rest/sports bar attached called Mulligans. Right across the parking lot is a terrific restaurant also. On the beach, good size pool. We have stayed there several times...but everyone has different tastes. There IS a difference between 'ocean side' and 'ocean view' rooms.

Thanks Chuck. Fun Coast residents must have similar tastes, lol. We'll check it out. Sounds pretty much what we're looking for. We just want to get away and relax for a couple of nights, but not have to eat at the same restaurant every day.
