They are nasty......I think they make Super Glue from their bodies!!! They are just about impossible to get off.

After 3 months of rain I finally got to washing it this morning, detail it over the next few days. I have to tell, first time with white walls and what a pain that was. I need something to make that easier, no doubt.

About the only good thing you can say about S. Fla is we don't have them. I had reason to cruise up to Port Charlotte & Orlando area twice over the last couple of weeks and my car came back covered! I do have a bug sponge that gets them off easily I have to say when I wash the car.

It is a pain. I used to use Wesley's Bleche White and it was good but I ran out. Comet cleanser on a scrub brush is what I use now. For quick cleanups or a grease spot I use brake cleaner on a rag...it works great and quickly, but you have to be sure and use one that won't hurt your rubber. Look at the ingredients and google them to make sure, not all brake cleaners are safe but mine checked out ok.

....and in case you were wondering, they are very bitter. They do not taste good at all.
