The 2 p.m. update had a projection of TS until Monday morning, arriving in FL as a Cat. 1 Hurricane. What does the 5 p.m. update project?

Let's hope a Cat 1 at worst.
Let's hope after that it put it's turn signal on and heads east....not NE either.
Either way stay safe UKlauren.

So far predictions have it heading for Port St Lucie which is about 70 miles north of me but there are Treasure Coast peeps here on HD Forums. Cat 1 is the current forecast but you know the weathermen are clueless so who knows.

Wishing everyone in the path all the best and stay safe. I spent 40 years in South Florida and do not miss hurricane season ..

Default Not To Worry

South Florida hasn't seen a hurricane in about 10 years, so I moved here and here we go! In my opinion, we're just going to get a heavy rain (hopefully). I just got thru washing the bike on Monday. I haven't had a chance to detail it yet, otherwise I'd be expecting at least a Cat1.

I've got to admit though, we do tend to get some rather violent thunderstorms here. Not to worry though. Lots of bottled water and can goods in the house. We're gonna skip stocking up the fridge this week for now. Don't wanna have to have a food fest to get rid of it before it spoils if the electricity goes out!

Lastly but not leastly - plenty of beer, wine and spirits! After all, the party must go on!!
