Have a safe ride and a great time. I wish I could join y'all. I love Key West. I will be riding down and camping there the last weekend in Feb for two nights.

I have never stayed there yet but will in February.

 

Phew long day, left home at 6.30 or so, got home at 6.30pm. Not sure how many miles but about 450 round trip, lunch at the Hog's Breath with Steevo and some of my friends. A 2 minute smattering of rain as we came into KW.

I'm beat but it was great.

Glad you had a nice & safe ride. We always do a Christmas Day ride, but its a relatively short one, late morning to early afternoon, usually staying in the Daytona area. This year we went up A1A to St Augustine. Caught a few sprinkles just south of town - must have been the same ones you hit in Key West, lol.

Oh, BTW...
We witnessed some Cuban rafters coming ashore in the Keys. There were two groups of mostly young men. We passed one group walking along the road, towards their buddies, who were already getting a warm Christmas welcome from law enforcement. In the next pic, you will see the boat, not sure how they all fit on it, couldn't tell if it had a motor or not.

 

They are paddling here as fast as they can before they change the law about free Medicaid and Social Security which I think is currently in congress and then I imagine after the election they will change the entire wet foot/dry foot policy.
