not going this year, saving for my Arkansas trip.

 

May ride over on Sat the 23rd.for the day. Not sure.

 

I'm planning on going for the first time this year. I'm an hour away, so no need for staying the night.

 

Lauren, when are you doin the Ark trip? I would like to make a run I-10 just east of Houston. My dates are fluctuating from 21st to the 27th. I was originally thinkin hit Leesburg then on over to TX via I-10. This something hits your schedule let me know, I can blow off Leesburg.
Y'all that never been to Leesburg, it's a small place that gets crowded. I usually do a one day run myself and stay away from downtown. If you like to drink, a room is definite must. Spend the night.

@ Lauren, thought I'd throw that out there should you had been traveling that time frame. August in Arkansas is major heat. lol, you've been warned.
@ Joe, that tarp pic you posted is exactly how we rode back in the day. Sleepin bag rolled up around the tarp strapped to the sissy bar. I'm agin and my wife laffs at me when I tell gonna set the scoot up for campin,tells me just get a room old man.
I tell her, pfft, then it dawns on me, I do like my morning coffee to kick start my morning constitution...lmfao

@ Hey Man & Prime..I may be up to a day in Leesburg, mean I cant drink til I get close to the house on the return, takes all the fun out of it but I do have a Houston trip right behind it.
Y'all put a plan together where we can meet up, I could be interested. I usually run 301 to Bushnell and cut over. Y'all a better route?
