Default UKLauren Screaming Eagle

Well the meet and greet in Sebring today was a great success. Quite a few of the Florida crew showed up at the Blue Lagoon Saloon for lunch.

Anne and I meet some great people and look forward to meeting up with them again.

On the way home we tagged along with Murph and UKLauren. The weather today could not have been any better. We were behind Murph and Lauren on a local back road when I saw this Hawk fly a low approach across the road in front of Lauren. Then I realized he flew the approach, but did not land.

Next thing you know Lauren's hand goes up and pulls off to the side. When we came along side this is what we saw.

I've also added some photo's of the lunch.

Yes I have to agree, it was a nice turn out and was nice to put faces to names. I enjoyed the conversation at our table and I will reach out to you as we continue to plan this year's trip to get more pointers for Colorado.

We need to do this more often so I can get to know more of the folks.

Wow Lauren...Lauren's nickname should be screaming eagle going forward. That is crazy....

Hopefully everyone will check in and let us know they got home ok.

Another great day of riding in the books!!

Thanks for the restaurant suggestion!!

Indian name now: "Screamin'Eagle Full of POOP"...!

Now that was a bird that was endangered! (Hope you kept a feather from its tail....) Glad you made a safe stop.

No, nobody wanted to touch the bird, so I didn't get a feather.

I saw the bird dive bomb my bike, next thing I felt a 'thwack' on my left boot. I thought it would drop to the ground but I looked down and saw it was lodged in my engine guard so I had to stop to dispose of it.

I apologized to the hawk gods for killing one of their own.

Great turnout today - about 30 of us, old and new faces. I will post pics in a few minutes.

Maybe Screamin Hawk!!! Though the bird never uttered a squawk.

Thanks for putting it together Tina (Crump)
