Default Shouting out thanx!

I want to thank the following people for helping me find a bike.

The first one is Chuck (The Mensch). He posted the link to the bike that I am buying tomorrow. Beer is on me next time we meet!

The second is Hugh (Fishheadsaid). He looked at the bike and told me that if I didn't buy it he might. Or maybe he said if he was looking to buy one he would buy that one..... Beer and BBQ when we meet.

The third is Eddy (Jaxharleyrider). He is taking me to Pensacola (700 miles round trip) So I can buy it. Dang dude.....Beer and BBQ isn't enough....

My excitement of getting a touring bike is over shadowed by fear of going from a 650 pound bike to a 900 pound bike, And I am truly humbled by the help I have received.

THANK YOU!

BTW

I will post some pix soon.

Dang...all I did was post a link from Craigslist w/ a picture of a bike that was cheaper and less miles than the one you looked at Adamec Harley...so
they would see what bikes are out there and they would know they were priced too high. I
didn't tell you to BUY IT! But if I get a beer, so be it.
I may have a maintenance book for it. Once I can get moving around and out to my shed,
I will look for it. Come to think of it, it might be a 2009, but I do not think much changed except colors.
Glad Hugh and Eddie were able to help. To all who may not know them, great 'hearts' those two have.
Enjoy the ride.

Chuck

Not to worry....you KNOW how those Ultra Classics keep you dry behind that fairing and all. Besides....when riding a new bike, you never even feel it.

It's always nice to see a plan come together. And thanks for lunch Jerry. I had fried mullet and some raw oysters with Maryellen and Eddie at Sea and Suds restaurant in Gulf Shores. It was very good.

Rained on a little? For eight hours! Three times the rain was coming down so hard it would drown a frog! I had a total of about an hour that it didn't rain.

And those fairings and lowers do keep the rain off....not...
My rainsuit leaked so bad that My clothes were soaked, I got cold (65 degrees) and put my leather on, turned on the heated grips (fingerless gloves and wet ), and I was fine.

I'm lovin' this bike!
