Bet some of us down south would accompany you some or all the way. I can reach Key West in 4 hours.

Hit the 'rally' and then follow some of the Southern FL Crew down towards Miami/Key West...best of both!

That's what I was thinking, too. I usually have a day or two left of my PTOs to use up before November 30th. I have to use them or lose them.

That's a thought. Never been to a rally.

Plus, the Rally is on a Holiday weekend (still cheap room rates where the Crew stays...) so if you decide to go
south AFTER the rally, the Holiday has passed so rates MAY BE cheaper in the Keys?
It has been years since I have ridden down there, don't know how things have changed. One thing I
think I remember hearing, is if you take the TurnPike down, there is no more tolls. I heard that they take a picture
of your license plate and send you a bill in the mail. (Anyone confirm that?)

Yes you don't have to stop for tolls any more, they take a pic and mail you the bill but it costs more than stopping for tolls. Alternatively you can buy a Sunpass and register the bike/car but might not be worth it if you're not going to use it ever again.
